WOMEN OF GRACE:
Women of Grace meet at 2:00pm the 1st Tuesday of every month in the church library. For more information, please feel free to contact Cathy Smith at (608) 325-2697 .
Big Brothers/Big Sisters Drive
Here are some of the Women of Grace ongoing projects!
- Bible study: Lydia circle meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 12:30pm in the fellowship hall
- Graduate Blankets: lovingly made by Gloria Scherer and given to high school graduates
- Care packages: a box of goodies is sent to college students and military members each fall
- Thanksgiving Remembrance: gifts & cards are sent to our seniors who are shut-in or in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Chili Take-Out: open to everyone and proceeds are donated to a special project at Grace
- Ice Cream social: open to everyone and proceeds are donated to a special project at Grace
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters drive: we collect snacks and supplies for BBBS after school program
- Quilters Group: meets two Thursdays a month to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief
- Funeral Lunch Group : allows families to gather for lunch and fellowship following a funeral
- Missionary Sponsorship: We sponsor our missionary once a month
CHRISTIAN LIFE
Our Christian Life Committee provides opportunities for members of Grace to gather for fellowship and to reach out to those in the community who need our help. Both are important parts of our faith journey. We try to plan some type of get-together at least once a month.
Fellowship events include:
game night, bingo night, movie night, our annual church picnic, tea at Payne's, Dinner for Six and lots more!
Outreach projects include:
Hands of Grace (providing help to homeless and those who have fallen on hard times), donating items for children in foster care at Christmas, encouraging church members to participate in "Random Acts of Kindness"
