Serving on the Altar Guild is a ministry. "Members if the altar guild are grateful servants: ministers of God, ministers of God's people, ministers of the liturgy and ministers of the worship space." S. Anita Stauffer.*

Many members of Grace Lutheran Church have served thought the 50+ years of the Altar Guild ministry. Currently the Altar Guild consists of four committees: Altar Ornaments Committee, Flower Committee, Linen Committee and Stitchery Committee. These committees are responsible for setting up the altar for worship each week, as well as duties aligned with the committee titles. The committees rotate monthly, each group serving three months during the year.

The Altar Guild meets quarterly on the third Thursday of February, May, September and November. New members are welcome. Contact Kandace Bergstrom at 608-447-1697 with questions or interest in serving on the Altar Guild.
